The ministry is a ministry of helping. Any and all help is the primary goal, or should be for every Christian. This specific help will be to move people who are serving God in a mobile way. It is also to move people who have a desperate need to travel. Two examples will be given but the scope is so large yet that this point the specific potential scenarios would take up volumes. The method of travel in this ministry will be flight. The size and type and number of aircraft will depend entirely upon the scope of the ministry and will grow or diminish as needed and provided for by God through this partnership.
- Serving God in a mobile way.
1) Preachers who offer their ministries to distant churches and must depend on various transportation methods to accomplish this.
2) Musicians who travel to perform for churches and communities and minister the word of God musically and who do not require guaranteed amounts of money to do so. (Free-will offering is the example).
- Desperate need to travel.
1) People with health issues who need rapid transportation to hospitals and/or therapy sessions in distant locations.
2)
People who have a sudden family calamity and have no other means to reach their loved ones in need.
This ministry is intended to be free of charge for those who receive it.
The cost to provide this ministry will be staggering or even impossible for one person and daunting for a few people, but with many partners it should be not only possible, but financially painless.
The Initial Cost:
- Pilot training at a Cessna Pilot Center: $10,000 to $15,000.
- First plane: Cessna C172SP with modern navigational equipment: $100,000 to $200,000 depending upon age and equipment.
Ongoing Cost:
- Increased numbers and types of aircraft and pilots.
- Hangar space. God's equipment should be kept in perfect condition.
The plane(s) should be used primarily for the ministry but to keep from wasting fixed-expenses, they should be used to earn income for the pilot(s) and the ministry at times when not directly engaged in ministry work. It should be allowed that the pilot(s) can sign the plane(s) out when they are not otherwise needed. This should include use for the pilot's own transportation needs at the pilot's own expense. A plane that is not being used is pure financial liability. A desired by product of this ministry could be to encourage more people to become pilots. We would provide the training and in return gain some of the new pilots' time to more quickly reveal the Kingdom to the world at large. |
